The appeal of a cuff over a chain is practical. There is no clasp to fasten one-handed, nothing to tangle at the bottom of a bag, and no sizing decision to get wrong. The band opens just enough to pass over the wrist and springs back to shape, so it sits where you put it and stays there all day. Inner diameter is approximately 2.17 in (5.5 cm), which fits the large majority of adult wrists.

The charms are where the personality is: crosses and saint medals, hearts and roses, shells and starfish, cats and elephants, pumpkins and skulls. Enamel work is glossy and hand-finished, crystals are faceted to throw light rather than sit flat, and the cable wire has a visible twist that catches highlights along its length.
